Since
2023

Located in the Centre‑du‑Québec region, Industrie Fabco has been designing and manufacturing metal parts and products such as street, advertising signs and prefabricated buildings since 1985.

Although the company already had a showcase site, it was beginning to show its age and still needed to meet its growing business needs. Against this backdrop, Nmédia was commissioned to revamp the website to make it a more modern and functional platform.

Improved navigation and user experience

One of the first major tasks for this redesign was a review of the user experience (UX). After our experts had analyzed the site, recommendations and modifications were made to align it with the company’s needs. The aim was to ensure that the site and its labels were evocative enough to allow smoother navigation. The aim was to satisfy both common users and industry experts. A better hierarchy of information and products simplified navigation were made. The site’s content, including the various buttons and texts, was standardized to make everything more precise and more coherent for visitors.

Throughout this project, Nmédia’s teams were able to work continuously with Industrie Fabco’s teams through numerous meetings. This collaboration made it possible to listen to the needs and desires of the company throughout the project, which knows its industry better than anyone and what its customers are looking for when they come to its site. The combination of Nmédia’s expertise with that of its digital experts resulted in a website that is adapted, efficient and in tune with current market trends.

A visual redesign adapted to the company’s needs

Our design team also benefited from a complete overhaul of the site’s visual presentation. Following discussions on desires, inspirations and market trends, the visual revamp began on the website’s many pages. Each page benefited from specific customization to differentiate it from the others. Industrie Fabco’s brand image was also emphasized, with the use of orange as the dominant colour and a nod to the curves of the company’s logo throughout the pages and visuals. To provide visuals that were relevant, appropriate and representative of both the company’s reality and the quality of its products, photo and video shoots were organized with both teams.

One of the company’s wishes was to manage its website’s content entirely autonomously, without having to approach our web agency to make the slightest change. Developed using the Strapi content management system (CMS), Nmédia fulfilled this wish. Thanks to our team’s support in taming its platform, Industrie Fabco can now enjoy complete autonomy in managing its future content.
